Third Oncology Camp, 2022
9th August 2022 to 12th August 2022
Hatfield House Estate, Hatfield, AL9 5HX, UK.
Course Structure
In this 4-day training course each topic will be covered by different sub-specialities. This ensures a broad perspective to case management. We will hear from veterinary oncologists, clinical pathologists, anatomical pathologists, radiologists, surgeons and a radiotherapist to provide a collaborative approach to case management. We are focusing on endocrine tumours; covering treatment options, and management of the consequences of endocrine disease in cancer patients. In-depth knowledge is again provided on basic radiobiology, principles of CT/MRI, cancer biology and basic statistics. The exam session will focus on preparation for both oral and written components of the exam. To aid your learning, sessions are divided into lecture and interactive sections, giving you the chance to raise questions.
